Description |
One of the activities of class day, the flag rush. During this event, Christensen, a 200 pound freshman, surrounded by his fellow classmates, held a green and white flag. The sophomore formed a wedge and attempted to touch the flag. After 5 minutes, hands on the flags were counted. There were 7 Sophomores and 10 Freshman. Since there were twice as many Freshman on campus, the Sophomores won. Account from the October 9th, 1913 Collegian |
